The intention of this website is to create a style of tribute to the music, artists, publishers, and cultural changes that arose from Tin Pan Alley, by outlining how their actions and music influenced the music and culture in the United States today. By creating a tribute, I do not wish to just write a biography of the Tin Pan Alley, but to show how this time period and style affected music and the United States today. However, a brief history will help to provide context and lay the basis for the ideas that came from this era. Their styles helped to define a generation of music and have impacted many other genres and artists that came after them. From Irving Berlin to George M. Cohan, the music of Tin Pan Alley has won over millions of people across the globe.
